With the full support of the Soil Association Scotland, the Highlands and Islands Organic Association and Highland Feast, "Living Food At Cawdor Castle" returns for a third successful year. A celebration of organic food from across the Highlands and Islands, and local produce, this dynamic regional event takes places in marquees in the beautiful grounds of Cawdor Castle on Saturday 27th September from 10am until 5pm. With over 50 stalls to choose from you will be able to sample some of Scotland's finest produce, as well as learning where to source it and its' benefit to both your health and that of the environment. The event is now greatly enhanced by the production of wonderful organic lunches, with food provided from the event stalls and produced on the day by the local East Highlands and Moray slow Food Convivium. An organic BBQ, accompanied by organic wine, will also be on offer. All this will be supported by a programme of cooking demonstrations, entertainment for all ages and some live music. A £4 ticket will gain entry into the event and also into the gardens and grounds of the Castle. An upgrade for entry into the Castle can be obtained at the Castle Ticket Kiosk. Children under 16 will free for the day.
